
Shift Supervisor Application
Position: Shift Supervisor
Starting Hourly Pay: $18/hr
Hours: ~30 hr/week
To be successful in this role:
We do not require any past service industry experience for this position, but you’ll need the willingness to learn management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house.
We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity. All team members are expected to be knowledgeable of our menu and process and to set a welcoming tone for every guest who walks in the door.
We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments and slow shifts. Ultimately, you will ensure our operations run smoothly, and customers have pleasant experiences.
Requirements and Skills:
Must be 21+
Must be approachable, welcoming, and implement customer service skills
2-3 References
No felonies
Daily Tasks:
Kitchen prep work
Motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
Prepping food
Checking at every table at least once during their visit (inside and on the porch)
Maintaining an extensive knowledge of our menu and tap-wall offerings and pairings
Making and delivering bar drinks
Assisting host staff as needed
Maintaining a clean and safe environment
End-of-shift back work
Locking and/or unlocking doors at open and close
